Yours
truly &
the Mayor of
Brent...it
looks
like we
can't
stand
each
other...but
no he
was very
nice.

This
60-second

was the
favourite
of my
day :0)

Saw
this...puts
my work
to
shame.

8th

Went to
great private
view of
an
exibition
where
contemporary
artists
have drawn
inspiration
from the
work of
Marvel
Comics
legend
Jack
Kirby...

M y
favourite
piece in
the
show, by
Vlad
Quigley.

Some
sketches
I did on
the
night ~
this is
fashion
designer
Mark
Charles.

Whilst
drawing
the
chap
below,
was
thinking
of one
of
Kirby's
characters,
"The
Watcher".

A
client
just
sent me
a scan
of one
of the
drawings
from a
job..
..he
also
sent
this
photo of
yours
truly.

"Dear
Alfie
First
let me
thank
you for
making
the
party a
success.
I
greatly
enjoyed
the 19
caricatures
you made
in a
marathon
session.
I've
passed
your
name to
a few
who
asked,
as they
like
your
work.
I attach
a scan
of Henry
VIII.
Thanks
again, see
you
again.
Regards,
Chris"

Plundering
the
vaults...here's
some
sketchbook
stuff
from 1991.
Yep,
I'm THAT
old ;0).
M y first
proper gig.
Whilst
at
Chelsea
I was
asked to
do a
sketch
of a
bachelor
and a
spinster
to go on
the
invitations, as well
as doing
drawings
at the
actual
event.

I still
draw
people
on the
tube,
but
here's
one I
made
twenty
years
earlier.

Below is
"Hugh
Number
Two",
who used
to be a
regular
at the
Drayton
Arms on
Old
Brompton
Road in
South
Kensington. A
few
weeks
ago a
friend
told me
he'd
passed
away.
Sad
news...such is
life...or
death
:-/.
RIP.
