I'm virtually the only caricaturist in the UK with clear prices up on their site, I'm not sure why - for me the only real practical variable is how I get there and back.

If your venue is beyond central-ish London and I need to add something for travel I'll point it out in your quote. I'm based in Dalston, east London, and use public transport. If the venue is rural and you know the wisest transport links (from London) please mention them in the comments.

Go by the drawings, and perhaps try to get a bit of an idea of what the person you book is like - there's an important social aspect to what I do of course - or you risk ending up with a Muppet!

My average booking lasts around three hours, although trade shows and the like can go on all day. According to the time-money ratio, the longer I'm booked for the better the deal it works out at for clients, and of course the more free sketches I can do.

Upfront prices, along with plenty of recent live sketches (and pics of 'orrible old Mr Sketchum) on this DIY website mean you can trust that what you see here is exactly what you get.

I'm often due to stop when I'm still in high demand (which can break guests' hearts!). For 50 per half-hour you can usually* get me to extend my performance.

Preprinting graphics and/or a commemorative messages onto all the sheets of card I work on adds 50.

*As long as I can catch the last train home/haven't got something important previously planned/don't have another booking for straight after yours.

Fees are payable on or a few days before the day of performance (corporate client terms may vary), by bank transfer, BACS, cash, cheque, or PayPal (works with AmEx).

When we're agreed on the main details I'll email my booking form (not the enquiry form below!) to you. When that's been completed, returned and acknowledged, you've secured my services, and all that's then left for us to do is hold tight until we contact each other a week or so before the event, just to check everything's still on track...and we're all set to go!
